For Photographers

I get a lot of emails (which I love)  from people who would like to know simple details about my photography Like what camera I use or what I use to edit my photos,
so here is all that info in one post.

I shoot primary with Nikons D700 – full frame camera
Why Nikon, not Canon- only simply couz my grandfather used to shoot with Nikon so I got used to that.
Nikon vr Canon – they both amazing productions, and constantly compete with one another, prices are similar so you cant go wrong by choosing one over another!
I do have several film cameras Like in photo above Lubitel, and Holgas, Fed, Exa, Brownie, Zenite, Minolta, Polaroids, I use those once in a while- its fun;)

Lenses - in my case lenses makes all the difference, if you are short on your budged I think its better to  invest in lens then a camera.
I shoot with – wide angle AF-S Nikkor 24mm 1:1.4g ED (great for group shots, like wedding party or family)
Zoom lens AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm 1:2.8 II (using mostly for weddings, but also good for portraits if you step away : )
My fav 50mm 1:1.4 lens ( amazing for portraits with that blurry background)
And few lensbabies:)
I have few more back up lenses, since I dont use them often I wont list them here.

Lighting – my photography is a natural light photography, I do have several reflectors , but barely use them.
In low light conditions I have few SB-800 flashes I use.

And now Lovely editing- I do take my photos to extreme, so they dont look as an original one.
I like to create art not  just photography along.
I use Photoshop CS5
I do Have several action set that I play around here there, but love to create my own recipes.
So if you have actions , don’t over abuse them, use them to create your own!
I have many but Here is list of actions that I do use in my recipes the most
Florabella Collection
Paint The Moon Actions
Red Leaf Actions
The most used tool in my photoshop is a paint brush;-) I simply paint over pictures to add colors I want or skin ton, or even dress color.

Textures : I use lots of them, and not just to give photo texture feel, but even to add different color.
My textures coming form everywhere , actions I provided above have textures for sale, but I also snap textures here there with my own camera.
Road cracks, uneven walls, old fences- you can find them anywhere!! I simply over lay texture on top of my photo and play around with Opacity and such.

I hope you find this info helpful, and I would love to answer more of your questions!

Everyone have an amazing creative week!
